September 24th - Montreal- Our second demo was at Thomas Cook. Hey Thomas Cook, how many countries are protesting you now? We are globally exposing the connection between Thomas Cook and monkey torture. We first went into the office and then stayed out front with mega-phone and posters showing mutilated monkeys, Mauritius and a giant Thomas Cook logo. Many neighbours came and got leaflets and told us that no matter how beautiful Mauritius looks they would never go to this hell for animals.They also were shocked that Thomas Cook would not respect the boycott and vowed to not Thomas Cook it and would Book elsewhere! We also met a woman from a travel agancy one street over who was very pleased that Thomas Cook was being demonstrated against... more business for her! She also vowed to never go to Mauritius in support of the campaign. A Thomas Cook employee told us we should not target Thomas Cook in Montreal because it is mostly UK Thomas Cook's that sell trips to Mauritius, but we let him know that as long as there is a single Thomas Cook in the world still selling trips to Mauritius then all are a target. Global Pressure Rising!! Thomas Cook do the right thing, stop selling vacation packages to Mauritius because we aren't going away. The campaign against Thomas Cook will only get bigger.

WHAT YOU CAN DO:
*Write to the chief executive of Thomas Cook and air your disgust at Thomas Cook's continued support of animal cruelty.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I would like to voice my disgust at Thomas Cook's selling of holidays to Mauritius.
I understand that Mauritius are one of the world's largest exporters of primates to animal testing labs where the animals suffer and die in pain.

I want you to know that until you stop selling holidays to Mauritius I will not be booking my holidays with Thomas Cook.

I urge you to put pressure on the Mauritian government to close down these evil monkey farms and ban the export of primates for vivisection.
