Shame on UPS and Eli Lilly

Today we got some activists together and went to blame and shame costumers and suppliers of HLS in the suburb of Montreal.

First stop was a busy UPS Store in the rich area of Pointe-Claire. We went equipped with bandanas, air horns, posters, flyers and our megaphone. We gave leaflets while yelling and making a lot of noise. The very relaxed employees didn’t even bother to get up from their chair. They simply called the boss to tell him we were telling the truth about their unethical relation with animal cruelty. We made sure to be really loud and told everyone around this strip mall to boycott UPS because of their involvement with HLS. A lot of people took our leaflet and promise to file complaints to UPS and boycott them forever.

Second demo was ELI LILLY. This is a really big building they share with one more company. It seems Eli lilly employees know their company are doing something wrong because they were very
uncomfortable, and even more paranoid…they close all the lights
from the first floor!!!! It seems they knew exactly what the
SHAC campaign was about since all the employees were prepared and knew what to do in case of ‘SHAC freedom of speech attack’.

We made a couple of laps around the building naming and shaming ELI LILLY for their involvement in the animal cruelty business. In the parking lot we saw an employee trying to escape our speech on the reality about the ethics of her employer. To make sure all the employees on the second floor to the 4th floor didn’t miss the show, one activist even climb a really big pile of snow in the parking lot and confronted these cowards with a megaphone and a poster.

We will come back for you ELI LILLY until you drop HLS. From now on we will make sure every time we pass in front of your office to stop to remind you of the 500 animals you contributed to torture every day.

Last stop of the day was a very large UPS facility.
This is the main UPS warehouse for the center and east of Canada. There is 4000 employees working there at the same time, on a 24h, 7 days basis. There is even a Canadian border duty patrol station on place to accommodate UPS. We were not ready to confront that many security and police officer on this site so we opted to cross the barbed wire fence and go past the security guard booths to the giant parking lot and leaflet the employees cars and UPS trucks.

After we gave all our leaflets we manage to observe around and located all the security guard offices because next time we come we will do a big loud and angry demo to inform everyone on this site about the cruelty UPS support by making it easier for HLS to operate.

UPS we got you by the balls, drop HLS or face the humiliations everywhere you are in the world.
