INTERNATIONAL THOMAS COOK DEMOS

England
Activists payed another visit to ruthless capitalists Thomas Cook , High St, Worcester this afternoon where once again many leaflets were handed to customers letting them know about the Thomas Cook/Mauritius connection. Support from the public was fantastic today. A lot of members of the public find it hard to fathom why Thomas Cook are still boosting the economy of an island that kidnaps primates, holds them on monkey farms then sells them to labs across the world to be poisoned, choked, burnt, electrocuted and dissected in horrific experiments. Thomas Cook are in it for the cash which bloats their bank balance, and to hell with showing an ounce of compassion towards our nearest cousins the primates along the way. One man told us that he spent £15 - £20,000 at Thomas Cook each year and was absolutely outraged at Thomas Cook's continued involvement with Mauritius and vowed to complain to the MD of Thomas Cook first thing Monday morning! Brilliant! It's customers like this that TC will take notice of when their profits start to drop. A gang of youths came to chat and were educated about the dangerous scientific fraud that is animal testing, all this added to the scene outside TC. Other members of the public said they would send a donation in support to the Gateway to Hell campaign. Once again, the manager of TC looked stressed looking out of from the shop and seeing his customers brandishing boycott Mauritius leaflets inside the shop too. Have a heart for the animals Thomas Cook BOYCOTT MAURITIUS! Until that day, expect those who do have a heart to be constantly naming and shaming you for your links with animal torture!

Belgium
Today Respect voor Dieren Belgium held a demo outside the TC outlet in Gent (Vlaenderenstraat). It wasn't the first time we stood here, so they knew the score. Once again we informed many potential customers, gave them a talk and a leaflet and asked them to boycott TC until they stop their dealings with Mauritius. One lady was so shocked after hearing the truth that she broke out in tears... For nearly 2 hours we stood there, showing TC that we're never gonna give up. If they think that we're gonna stop supporting this international campaign, they have another thing comin'. As long as you're profiting from animal abuse we'll be there, be sure of that! So do the right thing TC and do it now! Drop Mauritius!

Holland
Saturday - Nijmegen/Netherlands: We went to two different Thomas Cook outlets and also this time we received a lot of support from the public. The name of Thomas Cook will be connected with animals trapped in Mauritius and killed at laboratories. Thomas Cook can make a difference and all they care about is MONEY. Shame on you Thomas Cook. At the first outlet the shop owner became really angry and started shouting at us. By doing this she made herself look like an idiot and she was drawing attention to us. Perfect! At the second outlet the Thomas Cook employees were lying to the customers that they are not flying to Mauritius. The fact is that they book Mauritius and Thomas Cook is selling on a European level the most tickets to Mauritius. Reasons enough to boycott Mauritius and Thomas Cook. Probably the most embarrassing is to discuss the issue inside with the few customers. They looked at us all the time and we showed the signs with the mutilated monkey from Mauritius. Again how embarrassing. Many more demo's coming your way Thomas Cook. www.respectvoordieren.org
