Today we decided to do a home demo at the house of Sumitomo Canada President, Brian Lambert.
The first team delivered in the mail box a flyer warning Brian’s neighbor that they live near a puppy killer, it included information about the relation between Sumitomo Corp and HLS. For over an hour in a perimeter of 1 kilometer, every single house of Brian’s neighborhood was visited. .

We blame and shame Brian for his lack of ethics and promise to come back as long as it take Sumitomo to sever all their links with HLS. We were running and jumping everywhere to make sure we were heard and that Brian understands we are serious and determined to win. After a couple of minutes some rich teenage kids living on the same street came to us and tried to bully us around, maybe they were Brian’s son’s (Ben) friends but one thing for sure, they were very funny. We left at 10:59 pm, just in time for the noise curfew.

As we were walking calmly we were stopped and interrogated by the cops. They even put one of the activists in the police car, saying he did
a demonstration without a permit and because he didn’t want to identify himself. They hold him for half an hour and seeing they could not arrest,
ticket or identify him he was released with nothing. Unfortunately for them, we know very well our rights and know we don’t have to identify our self and that protest are covered under our freedom of speech charts and talking in a megaphone is part of a protest.
We have been doing demos at Brian’s house and office for almost 3 years now and we will continue until we win, even if it takes 10 years. See you soon Brian or you know what you have to do if you don’t want to see us again….DROP HLS !
